Goals & Input
By: Jay
Setting our goals gives us an aim in aligning our mind and thoughts to their achievement. It is in being able to take that “castle in the air,” our dream/desire, and bring it down to earth. There are times our “castle in the air,” seems to float away rather than become reality in our life. It is up to us to anchor it and bring it down to earth. It is in anchoring it in our mind and preparing the way to achieve it that brings it closer to reality. It is all well and good to have dreams and desires to lead us to setting our goals but unless we take the steps to bring it into our life it is nothing more than ethereal dream and unrealized desire, leading to frustration. All begins in our mind as a thought but action is required on our part to bring forth the desired effect in our life. All is cause and effect…thought begins the process as a cause, how we think of things will affect the effect, the result, of the initial causation. Remember, life can only reflect back to us what we most deeply and truly believe. It is not say there are not setbacks or steps backwards, these are the “things” that can either motivate us to continue forward with greater knowledge or derail us from going forward to a fulfilling and rewarding effect, accomplishment; the choice will always be ours.
We can read books/articles on different techniques to achieve our goals and listen to speakers for inspiration to invigorate us to move forward. But until we actually take action and motivate our self we shall be living in that ethereal “castle in the air.”
As goals are an important of our life I would like to hear from you as to your techniques (s), what inspires you and how you handle setbacks. If you give permission, I would like to share “your way” of attaining your goals with all the readers of this blog, PMA. Please keep your submission to a maximum of 300 words. If you are a fellow blogger, please include the name of your blog and the web address. Please use the comment section to reply.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and techniques, it is appreciated. Each of us has something to share and learn from each other for living a better life and realizing goal achievement. Again, thank you!
Continued Success in all your works. Jay
