Closed Eye   Today’s Positive Thought is by C. Assaad.

“Close your eyes and imagine the best version of you possible.  That’s who you really are.  Let go of any part of you that doesn’t believe it.”

“Winners, I am convinced , imagine their dreams first.  They want it with all their heart and expect it to come true.  There is, I believe, no other way to live.”

To Dream

My World   To dream, to live, to move forward, to be; oh what marvelous creatures we humans be.

The key word is “be.”  For “to be” is to dream illustrious dreams filled with all the good we can imagine, to soar into the heights of our imaginings, to dream a new reality, new life, a new and more prosperous way of living and expressing, let us not let our dreams be as vapors that dissipate into nothingness but allow them to take form and substance in our life experience.

It is from dreams we become inspired to be more, to create, to experience greater good in all areas of our life.  Dreams are the impetus to moving forward with greater success in expressing life.  Shakespeare wrote, paraphrasing, “To sleep, perchance to dream.”   Let us awaken and take our dream of better living into our hearts and minds and decide to set our goal, to make the dream reality.  You are capable of doing this, making your dream a reality.  To do so is to believe in your dream and yourself, but more than that you must know it as a real possibility for you here and now.  No one else can do this for you.  No one can prod you along…you are the only one who can and who has the inner power, creativity and strength to bring your dream into reality.  Others may inspire us with their stories and how they became more successful in life. These stories may motivate us, may cause us to consider a new direction to accomplish our goal or change our point of focus and create a deeper awareness within ourselves of how to achieve our goals.

Life is filled with opportunities.  It up to each of us to take advantage of these opportunities when they arise in the course of our daily life, Carpe Diem, seize the day and the opportunities.  There are times we create the opportunities.  Life will forever honor us at our own taking So, today, know that your dreams can come true, that within you is; the power, talent and ability to attain a life of greater well-being and success.

Your life is one of success and well-being,

Day Dream 2   Today’s Positive Thought is by Dr. Jack Addington.

“Creative imagination forms the mold through which the creative process of life works to produce the manifest universe.  Whatever man can imagine, man can do.”

“Enthrone now in your mind the mental images, ideas and thoughts which heal, bless, prosper, inspire, and strengthen you.  It is true that you become what you imagine yourself to be.”

“What you can imagine as true already exists in your mind, and if you remain faithful to your ideal it will one day objectify itself.”

Climb A Tree

Oh, to climb a tree again and view the world from on high.  To go berry picking in the forest and finding wild strawberries in an open field.  To swim at the local lake and enjoy toying away the summer with friends on a tire swing hanging from a walnut tree, playing ball, tag, hide and seek and a variety of other games.  To view a stagnant pond and marvel at the life that exists in and around it.  The awe, the wonder that we experienced as a child can never be lost, misplaced-yes, lost never.

There are days in my life that I miss the simple easy, fun days of childhood.  How about you?

Just because we are adults, chronologically, doesn’t mean we have to lose being awed and filled with wonder about nature and the world around us.  When was the last time you watched nature in action…butterflies flitting by, humming birds speeding from one flower to another, enjoyed the transformation of a tightly wound bud to full colorful, aromatic bloom?  Time to literally stop and smell the flowers along the path of life.  So many of us are cooped up in buildings, some with windows and some without, staring at a computer screen, shuffling paper, forwarding e-mails and all sorts of documents with the simple touch of the send key.  Some of the offices I’ve seen don’t allow any personal items on the desk or on the wall in the cubicle. Perhaps some have a screen saver of nature on their computer to help brighten up their work area.  Yet, there is nothing like the real thing.

Time to reclaim your childhood awe and wonder.

Why not take some time on your days off to get back to nature to enjoy; the tide pools at the shore, the life that is teeming around you as you hike a mountain path, a meandering path around the lake, walking the winding pathway at the local park and watching the interplay of the squirrels as they scurry along playing tag with each other, or reading a book underneath a tree.  Why not sip on a beverage on the lanai or porch and take in the beauty around you…beauty is everywhere if you but look and let your mind wander with wild and creative imaginings.  Geez, what does that cloud look like to you?

Take time to reconnect with life.  We have become so removed we lose ourselves from living life with awe, wonder and inspiration.  Breathe in the fresh air, give your lungs a break from the recycled air in the air-conditioned office and home.  Life is about living and being lively in thought and action.  Life is enjoying the splendor all around us and being amazed by the littlest things we encounter on a daily basis.  Today, stop and treat yourself to some fresh-cut flowers for your table.  Brighten up your living space and it will help to brighten you and your endeavors with a new splash of excitement, color and life.

Let that inner kid out to enjoy and play in the awesomeness of life.

Wanna go fishin’ at the pond or swimmin’ in the creek?
