Plan   Today’s Positive Thought is by Jay.

Some keys to your success.

  • Participate fully in living life.
  • Be kind to others, random acts of kindness.
  • Practice what you believe.
  • Mentor others when the opportunity presents itself.
  • Let go of anger and upset, they impede the flow of success into your life.
  • Never let anyone or thing dissuade you from moving forward to the accomplishment of your goals/dreams/desires.
  • Be kind to yourself!

Monday Action

   Monday Action.

Today take time for a Random Act of Kindness to start the day and week, you’ll be amazed at the positive impact it will have on your life and affairs.

Monday

Well, here we are on Monday beginning the work week, perhaps with a sigh or with a song.  No matter what or how we feel it is all in the approach to the day that sets the tone for the week.

Take charge of your thoughts, focus your attention on your goals and where you see the week, presentations and meetings going.  Set the tone by setting the tone in your mind and actions.  The day and week are going to be what you make it, so why not make it wonderfully successful.  Oh yeah, don’t forget that random act of kindness.

Have a great day and week,

   Jay

P.S  Look for my 2 part article titled, Powerful Thoughts, Powerful Words, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Saturday

Enjoy your Saturday morning and those around you.

Create a wonderful day for yourself and enjoy.

Take someone up on an invitation for a meal or invite someone to join you, perhaps you know someone who could use some cheering up-give them a call and see how they are doing, or venture out and take in the world through new eyes.

Today, follow your heart and intuition.

The world is a treasure chest and you hold the key to it.  Open it up and enjoy the riches inside.

All The Best,

  Jay

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is titled, The Cost Is Small, from The War Cry.

“Kindness has been described in many ways.  It is poetry of the heart, the music of the world.  It is the golden chain which binds society together.  It is a fountain of gladness.  Kind hearts are more than coronets.  Kind words produce their own beautiful image in man’s soul.  Everyone knows the pleasure of receiving a kind look, a warm greeting, a hand held out in time of need.  And such gestures can be made at so little expense, yet they bring such dividends to the investor.”

What A Wonderful Day

 What a wonderful day!

Had to run errands and stopped for coffee.  The gentleman I met on the way into the coffee shop surprised me with a random act of kindness and brought my coffee.  I thanked him for his generosity.  What a nice gesture.  We never know how the good we do will be repaid to us.

Giving and receiving are two sides of the same coin; a circle in need of completion.  Not only is important to give with grace, but to be able to receive our good graciously when presented to us.

Many years ago there was book published concerning givers and takers.  The conclusion was, one must be both a gracious giver and receiver.  In this book the author stated, givers have an issue with receiving their good and takers have a problem with giving. Surprising, huh?

Moving along the road of success we give up old, tired, and worn out ideas, beliefs, and concepts that are no longer working for us to achieve our goals.  In replacing the old with the new more prosperous ones we receive our good in many forms: perhaps a luncheon or dinner business meeting to which we are being treated; it could be a recommendation for a job; a publisher or editor taking a chance on a book, an article or column idea; a literary or talent agent willing to represent us as they see our potential; meeting someone by chance who gives us a lead or better, etc.  There are a variety of ways that our good comes to us and it is up to us to receive graciously with an open heart and mind.

I have learned the hard way about not accepting my good when presented.  Like many I was taught, “Better to give than to receive.”  Well, it really is better to both give and receive to complete the circle and enjoy the benefits of both.

When the opportunity presents itself for a Random Act Of Kindness do participate, be you the giver or receiver.

Have a wonderful day!  Jay

Success Points

I have been asked to post these success points from The Anniversary post yesterday.  I did add one thought concerning kindness.   They have also been posted as a page.

Never give up!

Be positive about living life.

Love unconditionally and forgive unconditionally (yourself and others).

Let go of thoughts and beliefs which do not serve your higher good.

Don’t give in to the negatives!

Be kind to yourself and others. Be one who engages in a Random Act Of Kindness.

Take time for yourself during the day and most of all, be you and all the specialness you are.
