The Autumn Of The Year

It is the autumn of the year; our east coast has been severely hit by wind, water, snow and sand.  Many of the places I frequented as a child, teen and adult are now no more.  My relatives are doing well and making the best of things.  This can sound like our life at times…total destruction and a bleak outlook about what we see.  What we see may startle us at first and give us cause to pause with tears of despair and an, “Oh my god… ”  As the initial shock wears off we see new potential, we become invigorated, find the energy to go forward and create something new in our mind, then, in our outer life.  We may even find the resolve we’ve been looking for.  We become the phoenix and rise from the ashes with a new brightness and power to carry out our decisions.

How we view what is going on around us has a definite influence on how we see a way out of the rubble and onto better living.  Life is forever giving us clues as to how to better our living…perhaps it is an idea, or an opportunity, or a challenge, maybe we are inspired by a book, an article, or a column; whatever the clue is and wherever it came from appears in our life at the right time for the right reason, it then falls upon us to take action or not.

Moving forward means that we affirm, “I am in the right place, at the right time, and meet the right people and the right people meet me.”  Never doubt it, listen to your intuition, you never know who you will meet or what opportunity will present itself.  No-thing is impossible.  Dreams are given us to make real, from the ethereal to the material.  Desires to better our life and our world are impetuses that drive us forward utilizing our talents and abilities for the highest and best results.

I am in the autumn of my life and am moving forward, undaunted and with more courage than I had a month ago, more energy, and more gusto, more me.  Life will always honor us at our own taking.  I am fulfilling a dream(s) and know all appears at the right time and it has.  Stop wondering how it will happen and just let it happen, I guarantee you will be surprised how “things” and “people” enter your life to better it.

Feel Like

Ever feel like you are in the  Sahara Desert?  All dried up and withering in the hot sun and stung by the wind blowing sand at you?  When we are feeling sorry for ourselves and all that we are going through an oasis suddenly appears in the middle of it all, giving us; hope, water, shade, date palms and most of all rest from the weariness of all that is going on in our life.

What is this oasis?  It is our inner self beckoning us to rest and partake of the offerings at this oasis to become revitalized, reinvigorated, energized to move forward with a new inner fortitude to overcome the so-called problems/challenges and be renewed in our mind.  We are reminded of our own power and abilities to live life fully, completely and most of all filled not only with a sense of well-being but a life of well-being.  This includes success in being us and prospering by our new attitude and vision of successful living from plain and ordinary to the grandeur of life and all the perks that go with it.  It is at this point we decide, enough already, get off the pity pot and get moving.

The oasis and well-spring of life is within us, it is our spirit.  It is that which knows that we know that all is possible to us. We can be, have and accomplish whatever it is we desire, no limits.  The green and coolness of the oasis bids us to stay and drink from the well-spring which gives us inspiration, focus, direction and has imbued us with the power and authority to champion our lives.

The well-spring of this beautiful oasis is forever within us and when we need to rest, regroup and refocus it is always there for us to visit and relax from the all that is going on in our lives.  As we lean against the palm tree, enjoying the sweetness of its fruit and support, a new inspiration will enrapt us and lead us forward.

So if you feel you are in the middle of a desert, look up and nearer than you think is the oasis you are looking for.  Stop and refresh yourself.  Let this oasis breathe a fresh breath of life into you through inspiration and inner knowing while you are savoring the sweet dates and shade of the palm tree.

You deserve the highest and best life has to offer.  Enjoy the journey on the new road of inspiration, focus and direction.

The Pool

The pool…a great summer relaxer; a place to cool off, exercise, have weekend get togethers, BBQ’s, clam bakes, and if no one is looking, skinny dipping on a starlit night, but I digress.

Yet, in order to enjoy the pool we have to prepare it for the summer festivities.  Removing the pool cover and inflated pillows from a green slime environment is not always the best or easiest of chores after a long winter.  It requires hard work and elbow grease to remove the slime, scrub it down with acid, and adding a new coat of paint to really clean and dress up the pool for the new fresh water that we will be filling it with for summer fun.  But all the hard work pays off in the end and soon we put the memory of cleaning behind us and enjoy the benefits of the pool.

Bet you are waiting for the analogy, well here it is.  The pool and cover represent our mind which lays dormant with old ideas, thoughts, beliefs and concepts closed up and covered in a green slime.  In order for a fresh new start one must begin the cleaning up with diligence and purpose for the fresh water, new fluidic thoughts, ideas, and concepts  to give us a new, invigorating, successful life.  Like the pool we remove the scum, drain out the stagnant thoughts, and create a new receptive consciousness to receive our greater good…this means skinny dipping.  What?  Skinny dipping! In other words, stripping off the old and diving into the new water for an invigorating experience and life.  Time to stand naked in the sun (figuratively) and let the rays of life give us new beginnings…time to bloom into who and what we really are…winter is gone, time to spring into summer with that new mental outfit.  You look marvelous, darling!

Life honors us as we honor ourselves.

We are empowered and given the abilities/talents to be; successful, wealthy, healthy, wise, joyous, and happy.  How much is up to  us.

You were created to experience the highest and best life has to offer, don’t ever doubt or forget it!!

You and everyone else has a purpose.  You give meaning to life just by being and by being and expressing your creative persona you enhance your life experiences which allows you to share with others your good fortune. Life is both give and take, take and give; it is a circle.  Life, the creative intelligence of the universe, desires to give to us in abundance and in order to receive we must be willing to take, receive, through the power of our thoughts and beliefs.  Then, as we receive we give back to the world around us and complete the circle.  Also, another key is increasing our self-worth and self-acceptance…there is a huge difference between knowing our worth and accepting ourselves and ego tripping…a really big no no!

This summer, stay as  positive as possible about yourself, others, situations and events.  Remember to utilize your intuition and act, not react.

I wish you a wonderful summer experience and a pool filled the invigorating waters of life.

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Florence Scovel Shinn.

“Sometimes an insignificant incident may be the turning point in a man’s life.”

“Robert Fulton, watching  some boiling water, simmering in a tea kettle, saw a steamboat!”

On Abundance

On Abundance quote is by Dr. Jack Addington.

Just imagine yourself holding a power hose.  As long as there is no kink in the hose, the water pours forth.  Nothing can stop the flow unless the “hose” gets twisted.  It is we who put the “kinks in the hose” by our negative thinking.  Our part is to keep the “kinks” out of our thinking and let the abundance pour forth.
