Today’s Positive Thought is by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale.
“So to overcome obstacles and live the ‘I don’t believe in defeat’ philosophy, cultivate a positive-idea pattern deeply in your consciousness. What we do with obstacles is directly determined by our mental attitude.”
For more good fortune in our life the below saying by Archiebald Rutledge says it all.
“One of the sanest, surest, and most generous joys of life comes from being happy over the good fortunes of others.”
Something to ponder…everything is within us we just have to look. A quote by Agnes Repplier.
“It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it not possible to find it elsewhere.”
A happy thought on increasing our happiness by Paul Scherer.
“The only way on earth to multiply happiness is to divide it.”
Such a truism by John Dewey.
“Such happiness as life is capable of comes from the full participation of all our powers in the endeavor to wrest from each changing situation of experience its own full and unique meaning.”
Wisdom from a time long ago by Plutarch.
“That state of life is most happy when superfluities are not required and necessities are not wanting.”
I close with a wonderful quote by Norman Vincent Peale.
“Everybody really knows what to do to have his life filled with joy. What is it? Quit hating people, start loving them. Quit being mad at people, start liking them. Quit doing wrong; quit being filled with fear. Quit thinking about yourself and go out and do something for other people. Everybody knows what you have to do to be happy. But the wisdom of the test lies in the final words: If you know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.”
Have a wonderfully happy day, you deserve it and I am very happy for you and your good fortunes. Jay
Today’s Positive Thought is by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale from his book, The Power Of Positive Thinking.
“Get a correct mental attitude, remembering that ease or difficulty in your work depends upon how you think about it. Think it’s hard and you make it hard. Think it’s easy and it tends to become easy.”
Today’s Positive Thought is from Norman Vincent Peale’s book, The Power Of Positive Thinking.
The following quote is from a conversation Dr. Peale had with one of his clients concerning the power in positive thinking.
“I am now convinced,” he said, “although I wouldn’t have believed it possible, but it is evidently a fact, that if you expect the best, you are given some strange kind of power to create conditions that produce the desired results. From now on I am changing my mental attitude and shall expect the best, not the worst. My test indicates that this is not theory, but a scientific way to meet life’s situations.”
I expect only the best and eliminate all ideas contrary to this belief. I am worthy to experience the best life has to offer.
