Today’s Positive Thought

Thinking   Today’s Positive Thought is by Dr. Jack Addington.

“You are what you think.”  Your mental diet determines your life experience.  Any thought that is not positive and constructive, whether it concerns you or someone else, is a negative thought.  Any thought of limitation or lack will reflect as limitation  in your affairs.”

Every Day…

Every Day…

By: Jay

Sunrise 1   Every day is a day of creation.  In the beginning was the thought, the action.  As the sun rises and glistens on the dewy grass in the soft regenerative morning light; what was your first thought about the day?

We set the tone of the day by our thinking, our thoughts, not only about ourselves but our job, our day of activities, our well-being.  Life will take its cue from us on how to bring forth our moment to moment experiences throughout the day.  What choose you for your day?

We cannot say one thing and expect another…the more we say,” It can’t happen,” the more likely it is not to happen or happen in a way that is of benefit to us and those around us.  Whom shall your mind have a relationship with today, Kid Positive or Kid Negative, the choice is ours.  The sandbox we play in called life, will take the form we give to it, we will leave our impression in the sand and like a mold it shall be filled and make an appearance in our life.

Today, choose to be more positive, not positively negative-doesn’t really pan out for us, and put a new spin on the day…for the day is our creation…in the beginning was the thought, the action, and it took form.  Form the day you desire to experience…kick out the belief of fear, lack, limitation and change the “I can’t” to “I can;” from “I’m not” to “I AM.”   As has been said, “The only one who can stop you is yourself.” Stop, look and listen to what is going on in your mind and what is going on around you…how can you respond, not react, to make it better?  Visualize your day, your life experiences for this moment and all the moments of the day. You are the only one who can initiate change in your life and in your day.

The day is yours.  How shall your creative mind/imagination make it better and a more enriching living experience?  What are you willing to believe about yourself and your life that is positive, uplifting and enriching?

FYI On Change

pca logoThis FYI On Change article is in answer to a question I was asked over the weekend, “What does it take to begin to change your life?”

It was a rather long conversation so the following is a shortened version.

“What does it take to change your life?”  This question came out of the blue and was totally unexpected.

First and foremost we need to choose, make a decision, as to what area of our life we want to change.  Is it in the arena of money, work,  or relationships – personal and/or professional?

Next we need to ask ourself, “Am I willing to give up/change those beliefs, concepts, and thoughts, I currently  hold to that are keeping me where I am in life?  “Am I willing to see myself in a new light of understanding that I am capable of change and need not be stuck where I am?”   If so, what are your goals; short, medium and long-range?  Can you see yourself at the attainment of said goals, enjoying the fruits of your labor and not canceling them with negative thoughts and comments?  Are you willing to change, to enjoy a better life and lifestyle of well-being, success, and prosperity? “Are you willing to pursue new avenues of education, seminars or other ways of improving your life?

To change our life requires persistence, changing our perceptions of ourself, life, and our life experiences.  It is about coming to the realization that, “I am capable and worthy of the highest and best that life has to offer.”  This is the first step in changing our life and will always be the first step no matter how successful and prosperous we become.  Life always honors us by reflecting back to us what we believe to be true and this causation is seen and experienced by us, which is the effect.

By changing the way we perceive and believe about a situation the situation changes accordingly, life is always lived from within.   Change begins within our mind with the upgrading of our thoughts and beliefs.  The results will be seen in our life according to the degree/depth we believe about ourself and said situation.  By changing our thoughts we can change our life.  Not always the easiest to begin and give those old comfortable thoughts and beliefs the boot, which have limited us but when we begin and persist, we win in the end, and life becomes to us that which we have worked toward.

Life is for us, so why are we against us?

Remember, you are here to experience life  and all it has to offer to further your well-being, success and prosperity.

Smile, the Infinite is showering you with new possibilities, reach up and grab one, you deserve greater good in your life, here and now.

Today’s Positive Thought

My World   Today’s Positive Thought is by Ernest Holmes.

“One should never allow himself to think of, or talk about, limitation or poverty.  Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what he thinks into it.”

Today’s Positive Thought

Eagle   Today’s Positive Thought is by Alfred Lord Tennyson.

“To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”

A point made.  Let us not yield to fear, lack or limitation of any kind in our life. Jay

“As I rise to the challenge of living the life I choose, I gaze with wonder in my heart and mind at how

I have set myself free from fear, lack, limitation and embraced faith, prosperity and success.

Today is truly the first day of my new life.”

A Thought

A Thought is by Ernest Holmes.

“We are bound by nothing but our belief.”

What About Me?

What about me?  The “me” is a wonderful creation; it is filled with a variety of surprises.  The me gives direction to life and truly understands that me is created in freedom, not in bondage for the Big Me that created me would never have created me to be in bondage but in freedom to self-discover, to find that secret information that is hidden in the wide open spaces of my soul, that me is unlimited to do and to be.  To think the Big Me would create me in bondage to lack and limitation is to dishonor It.

So, what is me capable of?  Well, me is fully capable of sustaining a life of beauty, of harvesting the highest and best that life and this world has to offer.  Me is a creative genius that is able to think and have that thought come into existence from the unseen to the seen.  The me is; prosperous, successful, healthy, wealthy, wise, and oh so much more.

The me being is not merely made of flesh and blood but is a wondrous individualized expression of the Big Me.  Me is not only capable of thinking grand thoughts but is imbued with the power and ability to bring them forth as a me life experience.

Me is a gorgeous, beautiful, joyous celebration of the Big Me that has endowed me with the power and ability to express life in all Its glory and radiance.

The Law of the Big Me permeates the seen and unseen and follows the ancient dictate,” as within, so without.”

The real me is a mystical creation of light and love and it is the me challenge to recognize it, accept it, and use it to the best of my me capability to live a life of; well-being, freedom, self-awareness and self-discovery.

Lack and limitation are but borders which are temporary and change as easily as the me changes me thought.  No-thing is difficult or hard to accomplish unless the me deems it so.  All is within the me purview to change and enhance for life will always be what the me believes it to be.

Today, let me be all me can be and be with a joyous heart, open mind and an awareness of this deep and abiding power that lies within.

What about me?  Me is a wonderful creation that I celebrate every moment of every day.

Powerful Thoughts, Powerful Words-Part 1 of 2

The basis of positive and effective thinking concerns our ability to understand the active power within us, although it may appear to be latent, of our feeling nature, deeply held beliefs, thoughts and words, which create our life experiences.

In an ancient text, The Kybalion, we read, “as above, so below, as below, so above.”   We may also state, As Within, So Without.  In Isaiah, I paraphrase, “So shall my word go forth to accomplish that for which I have sent and shall not return unto me void.”   In the New Testament we read, “It is done unto us as we believe.”  The spiritual aspect has always been addressed by those who have taught and wrote on the subject matter of positive thinking. We have direct information about how powerful we are to bring forth the life we choose.  From ancient texts and teachings we are told that life is lived from within, out.  That our thoughts, beliefs, concepts, words have more power than we realize.  We are not created to be in bondage to lack and limitation but to realize a life of abundance, well-being.  It is time to take action and stop allowing ourselves to wallow in the well of despair and drink the bitter waters of our own creation.  We are created and worthy to be rich, prosperous, abundant, healthy, and happy, love and be loved, and all the good life has to offer. We are created to express life in a bountiful manner.

Well, how about Karma?  We have the power and ability to change our karma. We are not stuck with karma…karma is a learning experience and just like history, if we don’t learn from it we are destined to repeat it.  So if we are constantly experiencing the same effects in our life that we are not thrilled with, time to change the cause; our thoughts and beliefs concerning the situation and to be vigilant about the words we speak and our self-talk concerning said situation(s).

As we know, our life experiences reflect back to us our core beliefs about ourselves, life, people, events, situations and the world around us.  We call this by different names: The Law of Cause and Effect, The Law of Attraction, The Law of Reflection, Mental Equivalents, Magnetic Thought, Mirroring, etc. Call it what you want. Life will always become that which we believe it to be, no more and no less.  “Nothing escapes the Principle of Cause and Effect, and one may use the laws of the higher to overcome the laws of the lower.”—The Kybalion

If we are holding onto guilt about a situation time to forgive ourselves, those involved and the situation itself.  Holding on to guilt/anger/upset wears us down and keeps us from achieving our goals of living a fuller, healthier, positive and creative life of well-being. We are not going to forgive; we are letting the power of the Spirit of Life (God) do the forgiving. In letting go of guilt/anger/upset there is a simple and positive statement you can use. “I now bless, release and forgive myself with the Unconditional Love and Forgiveness of God and I bless, release and forgive (person or persons, places, situations) with the Unconditional Love and Forgiveness of God.”  This is a short note for your reference and will be addressed more in-depth at a later time.

This is the end of Part 1, Part 2 follows tomorrow. Jay
