Sunday Thought

You are the prefect representation of life.  You are prosperous, money is overflowing in your bank accounts and investments, you are healthy and successful, wealthy, filled with wisdom, joyous, happy, abundant and beautiful. For all that you are I give thanks.

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Ernest Holmes.

“Use your intellect, imagination and feeling for the purpose of seeing and sensing freedom instead of bondage, joy instead of unhappiness, plenty instead of want, health in place of disease.  The very denial of your good keeps that good from you.  Reversing this process through affirmation, will bring about the good you desire.”

I Create The Life I Desire – Part 1 of 2

Today I choose to create my new life.

I create new beginnings and new opportunities for my advancement in life; continually renewing my mind with positive uplifting thoughts to reveal new pathways for wonderful successes in life.

Opportunities are all around us.  When we are in a positive frame of mind and open to newness our vision expands enabling us to see the opportunities before us and allows us to act on them or not.  Opportunity is always knocking at our door, but, it requires us to take action on it; knock on doors, attend networking functions, make calls, send e-mails or letters, meet with someone over coffee or invite someone to lunch to discuss our product/idea/talent/ability, or a thing we call, “a chance meeting,” which is really an effect from changing our thoughts, ideas, beliefs concerning the situation.  If we are in a query about an opportunity best to step back, look at it and follow our intuitive lead.  Do not rush things into existence. The more we push to make something happen the more likely it is to fall apart.  Let things unfold naturally; this does not mean no action. A bit of Zen, it is in our inaction that action exists, it allows us to look, listen and learn from what is going on around us; which can be a key to taking a profitable and successful detour.

I create today the life I desire by the renewing of my mind and by loving and accepting myself unconditionally.

When we feel good about ourselves it radiates to the world around us as self-confidence and self-worth; it then follows that we are drawn to the people, places and things from which an opportunity or opportunities are born.  Loving ourselves and accepting ourselves for who we are makes us confident in our dealings with others.  It is what we think about ourselves that is important sans egotism. When we are secure in ourselves we have a wonderful self-perception that no one can blot out.

I create a new life of health, wealth, money, harmony, well-being, success, prosperity, abundance and bountiful good.

Our attitude toward our life and situation is extremely important.  In order to move forward into the life we desire it requires us to know we are, here and now, worthy of good health, wealth, as much money as we can conceive of as being in our life, well-being in all areas of our life, being as successful and prosperous as we desire. We are the only ones who can decide on how much of any good thing is to be in our life.  It cannot be that of another…each of us must follow our own inner drive to the life we desire to live.  As we experience life it is always good to listen to information shared by others and utilize that which we can…never pooh, pooh an idea for it just may be the catalyst to greater opportunities for success.

This concludes Part 1 of 2

 I Create The Life I Desire – Part 2 of 2

I Am What I Am

“I am what I am.”  If I remember correctly from my childhood, Popeye The Sailorman used this line, albeit stated a bit differently, and it is used in a song from La Cage.  How exciting to be what we be, I mean are.

We are amazing!  We have the ability to bring forth new and more enriching experiences in our personal and professional life.  How often we have read that we can bring forth the experiences we desire.  It is all in our mind’s eye…it is what we see and promote for ourselves within our thoughts that shapes our life.

What do we see for ourselves?  What is our self-perception?  The nice part of what see for ourselves and self-perception is, it is a picture always under construction.  Some days we paint with dark muted colors and other days we paint the canvas of our life with vibrant colors and pastels.  If we are having a dark color day nothing says we have to stay where we are and suffer the slings and arrows of our own making. Yes, we can stop and take in the dark moment to understand it and move out of it, but; no lingering there, no giving up, no listlessness, or allowing ourselves to stagnate in this pond of goo which drains the very life and creativity out of us.  Time to jostle ourselves and know we have the power to decide, the power of decision to say firmly and with authority , “I can change this.”  “I am what I am and what I am is amazing.” “I am is the key to me and takes me to new and bright beginnings.”  I NOW PAINT MY LIFE ON A FRESH NEW CANVAS WITH COLORFUL AND EXCITING EXPERIENCES OF ABUNDANCE, WEALTH, HEALTH, PROSPERITY, WELL-BEING, SUCCESS AND ALL THAT I KNOW I AM DESERVING OF.”

There is a creative power within and around us waiting for us to present it with the images of a better life so it may act upon and create the desired effects from the definite causes/thoughts presented to it.

You are an artist.  In you is an eternal beauty and creativity.  Now is time to pick up the new canvas and paints to let the  inner artist of life express itself.  Let your inner beauty out and say, “I am what I am and what I am is amazing and prosperous.”

Yes you are!

Yes, we did purchase the “I Am What I Am” t-shirts when we recently saw the show.

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Emmet Fox.

“Build up the consciousness for what you truly want and nothing can prevent your having it.”

YOU ARE AMAZING!

You are amazing!  We are amazing humans-being!  What we are being is up to our creative imagination.

Do you remember when you were but a little tyke what you wanted to be when you grew up?  Boy, I know my imagination was really active about a career path…how about you?  I wanted to be a cop, a fireman, a garbage collector – I thought it was cool to see the men riding on the outside of the garbage truck; at one point I wanted to be a doctor or a vet, a puppeteer-I wrote dialogue for puppet characters and presented shows in elementary school, actor, writer, chef.

Time to be a kid again.  Now let us use our creative imagination and play the game “Make-Believe.”  “Make-Believe” was one of the games my cousin and I created and played.  We would come up with a variety of ideas and begin to ad lib about being famous, traveling all over the world, all the things each of us dream about when we are children.

Ok.  I have a “what if” question for you.  “What if” you dreamed your dream and it became a reality?  Our creative imagination is the impetus to living a better life.  If we can imagine it and really want to go for it, we can.  When we read or hear the phrase, “Life is what we make it,” why not imagine a better life and cease to imagine the not so good continuing in our life.

Wanna play “Make-Believe” with me?  Can your imagination come out and play?

What is needed is a piece of paper and a number 2 pencil or fountain pen; sorry, those old school days are making an appearance.  Below is what you need to play.  Writing  down these “things” helps to reinforce them in your mind.

1. A very active and creative imagination.

2. A sheet of paper.

3. A pen or pencil.

4. Write down, with complete abandonment, your “Make-Believe” “things” you want to achieve and/or experience.

5. Using your creative imagination visualize these things coming to pass.  Do so with a happy and thankful heart, a smile on your face, see yourself laughing and really enjoying yourself with all these “things” of “Make-Believe.”

If you desire to have more money in your life, see yourself, literally rolling in dough (monetary kind).  Envision yourself throwing all this money up in the air and enjoy watching it flutter down ,around and to you and all the good you can do with it for yourself and others.

If it is for health, see yourself healthy and enjoying your life.

For success, see how you look and feel about being successful in your endeavor; and all you are doing with your success for yourself, others and the world around you.  I am sure you get the picture…so let the game begin!

As you write down your “Make-Believe” list, believe in it as a child would; with all your heart and all your mind without question.  Remember this is playtime and you get to be a kid again and happily believe upon a star.

6. When you have written down your list, as detailed as reasonably possible, fold it up and put it in a favorite book or place that reminds of you good things and happiness when you look at it.   If you get down just remember your “Make-Believe” list with a smile and believe.

7. YOU ARE AMAZING!    Your list is phenomenal and filled fun and great things.  You are really good at this game!

8.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES. THANKS

Comments will only be posted upon your request.

You are an amazing human-being!

Your Nighttime Affirmation

    Your Nighttime Affirmation

We know that our minds are impressionable, especially when we go to bed.  It is at this time we can  use affirmations to help us along the pathway of  success.

Using affirmations during the day and at bedtime is important as we move forward in success. Affirmations help us to impregnate our mind with positive uplifting thoughts, especially after a rough day.  It helps to relieve worry and if we should wake up in the middle of the night and still be worried or upset we continue with positive affirmation(s) to put our mind at ease, create a new point of focus and relax.  Bedtime is a time to affirm and accept our success, prosperity, peace of mind, right knowing and action in any situation, money, health, self-confidence and the like.  It is in this vein that I share the following thought and after thoughts.

While doing a bit of research the following affirmation by Dr. Venice Bloodworth, author of,  Key To Yourself, caught my eye.

“I am healthy, strong, young, powerful, loving, harmonious, successful and happy.”

You can also add or substitute the following words: prosperous, wealthy, money magnet,  joyful, calm, self-confident, vibrant, worthy, self-accepting, creative, filled with new ideas to move forward successfully in life.  I am sure you get the idea of what you can add to make the above affirmation your own.

Throughout the day affirm you are guided to the right people, places and things at the right time for your success.

Take time to honor yourself and lift your thoughts above the mundane, affirm your life of success.

You are worthy of the highest and best life has to offer, always!

Continued Successful Living,

Jay The Baker

This is a recipe for a successful mindset, your nighttime affirmation.
