Positive Attitudes With A Baking Twist

The Now

How often do we ever think about living in the moment, the now?

It seems we tend to view the past or skip to the future but overlook the present moment in which we are living and breathing, perhaps not even aware of this present moment in time.

It is in this present moment that we can take action to create a better future moment to enjoy.

Do we allow the past moments to influence our future, of course we do.  Until we take the time to cease letting the past repeat itself in the future we exist in a vicious circle of history repeating itself and the future moment relived with all the angst of the past and perhaps more.  But the angst relived is always in the present which is the future we had set up in the past present moment of a moment ago.

Life is an awareness of self, of our power, talent, and ability to express It in all It’s great good in the here and now.

We can let past melancholia seep into the future present moment of time or we allow ourselves to take control of our thoughts, beliefs and concepts to initiate a more wonderful future present moment.  Life is how we direct it to be.  Life takes the form of what we deeply believe it is and what we believe we are and worthy of in living our life.

It is the simplicity of living that can be the hardest to achieve with all the fears and blocks we have set up for ourselves to better living.  Do we all have our challenges to overcome?  Yes, each and every one of us.

As we go forward let us not put ourselves down because “I am not…,” but build ourselves up because “I am…”

Each and every obstacle, challenge, problem that comes our way allow us to utilize the power of our mind to vanquish them with positivity, faith, trust, and confidence in that we are the power over that which has none.  Those non-living “things” only have as much power over us as we give them.

YOU ARE THE POWER AND AUTHORITY IN YOUR LIFE, HERE AND NOW.

Use it wisely.

The Simple Life Part 2 Of 2

Life is easy, but we tend to complicate it with our fears, negative emotions, anger, upset and at times a not so great overall view of life.  My advice, “Stop making life so difficult.”  The sooner we can get past the gunky thinking, (that which clogs and stops up creativity and the flow of good into our life), the sooner we begin to realize improvement and a sense of joy in achieving and being.

Understanding the law of cause and effect and taking responsibility for our thoughts and life are essential first steps in success.

Over the years I have been asked to, “Fix me but don’t change me.”  Talk about an impossibility!  My response was, “I can’t fix you but I can help you change, if you want.”   If a person is unwilling to change the causation of their undesired experiences there are no band-aid remedies that will make it go away or patch it up like new—not even duct tape will help.

Life is what we make it, good, bad, indifferent, difficult, easy, sad or happy, it is up to us get our buns in gear and move up and out of mediocrity to phenomenal.

If you want to participate in life so be it but if not…well, just keep it to yourself; don’t continue to spew negatives about what others are doing, their dreams or goals. We have all met people who like to pontificate on all subjects, like to tell people what to do and how to do, all the while their life is so messed up that it is unbelievable, it gets tiresome after a while, perhaps we feel sorry for them.  The amazing thing is, when help is offered their fear appears and causes them to run from the offer with a variety of excuses and continue their mere existence with the same hurt, tears, anger and upset not only at themselves and others, but the world.  Eventually, when they tire of their situation, they will ask for help to the outstretched hand of the one who previously offered.  This is where you and others of the same positive mindset become the example, the teacher, the storyteller, the healer, the motivator, the friend.

You are the most important thing you can give to the world. Smile, take life by the hand and show it what you want with focus, determination, knowing and authority.  Life will then become that which you have shown it.

The Simple Life Part 1Of 2

We are but simple creatures grazing on the green fields of life. Our wants are simple; our desires not out of the ordinary. Grazing in the leas is wonderful, it is serene, a calm that permeates our very being, we are happy and content creatures ambling along enjoying the simple life for all has been provided for us, there are no challenges, problems are non-existent, illness is completely unheard of and our idyllic life lasts forever, peace and harmony exists between all the creatures it is as beautiful as The Elysian Fields.  Such joy and happiness fills our hearts and minds as we meander our way from one meadow to another in a slow steady pace enjoying the view and our companions along the way.  Nice dream isn’t it?

We live in a world where wants and desires can or may vary according to the day of week, the leas are not always green and fertile, if we are content our ambition to live life may be waning, challenges and problems are present, peace and harmony between and within us may be achieved and The Elysian Fields appear in our dreams.  It seems the joy and happiness that should be in our heart dissipates with each sorrow we encounter. Life, what an experience.  So how do we go about cleaning it up and making it better?  Well, it is an individual “thing,” no one can motivate us to get up off our mental duff and go forth to prosper or anything else.  We can be inspired, self-motivated, to move forward by others, by their stories, or by realizing what we have to give to the world…us.  How odd we would think “us” is the most important thing we have to give to the world, yet, it is the most important thing we can give to the world and be a beacon of inspiration to others, and as we do, we go forth to prosper ourselves and the world around us.

Life is truly simple and uncomplicated but we tend to mix it up and make it difficult. In fact, life is so simple that if anyone told us how simple it was we might just laugh in their face.

As stated in Monday’s post, Afraid Of Being Different?, this is part of the change taking place in the presentation of positive constructive attitudes.  What does this mean?  It is the difference in the presentation on success.  It will include, at times, the spiritual aspect of living and succeeding in life.  There will a bit of humor, satirical as it may be, and some asides that are a bit unusual which are meant to bring a smile or a moan and an ugh, while reading an article.

Now to continue…Part 2 tomorrow.
