Is It Really That Outrageous?

Are your dreams, desires, and goals for the new year that outrageous? Are you doubting your ability to achieve to greater heights in life and living?  Do you say to yourself,” Oh, I could never…”  Stop and follow your outrageousness.  You are a creative being with the power, talent and ability to achieve your dreams, desires and goals.  If you don’t follow your dream someone else will have the same idea and run with it.  Many decades ago a person we knew had an offer to take their product to market and due to a lack of self-confidence they declined the offer thinking, “Who would buy my product?”  The following year someone else, who had the same idea, started and it became a national chain.

To achieve your goals requires taking a risk; a risk on yourself, your ideas, your talents and abilities.  Believe in yourself and your idea   Know you are always in the right place at the right time and speak to the right people with the right words to convey your message.

If it wasn’t for our dreams which become desires and then goals people would still be living in caves oblivious to their creative genius and ingenuity.

So what if your dreams, desires or goals appear to be outrageous to the rest of the world, does it really matter?   You are an original, so be original, and follow your heart and intuition to attain your goal and enjoy the end product of your success.

Believe in yourself, in what you are doing and your idea.  Be proactive in your moving forward to newness in 2013.  Be willing to take a risk on your creative self-expression.

Alright, here it is in a nutshell:  Get a sheet of paper and at the top write:

My 2013 Goals

Then list your goals, be sure they are realistic and not so out of reach they set you up for failure.  Goals are met to stretch us, to allow us to grow and realize our talent and ability, to be more of who we are and not less.

Be willing to learn from the errors and do not be discouraged.

Listen to your intuition!!

Be willing to take a detour on the path to achieving your goals, things don’t always go as planned and that is a good thing.

Set your own goals.  No one else can set goals for you.

If you have children that are setting goals, don’t discourage them or make disparaging remarks about their goals. Support them with your love and heart, offering help when asked, this does not mean if a suggestion is needed when they are a bit stumped you can’t offer but be sure to do it lovingly and with encouragement; it is their goals, let them discover their abilities and talents to achieve.

Do not share your goals with anyone!!  Keep them your secret, you don’t need any naysayers.  If you and a mate/partner are setting goals, be it at home or in business keep them to yourself.

These are basics but remember: If you can Conceive it, and Believe it, you can Achieve it.

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Napoleon Hill, one of my favorites.

“Every adversity, every failure and every heartache carries with it the Seed of an equivalent or greater Benefit.”

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Dr. Robert H. Bitzer.

An ancient teaching affirmed that our positive, constructive attitudes register in our consciousness as light.  The Infinite  recognizes us only as shining light.  Failure and negation are not recorded.

Only our sincerity and integrity, revealed as light, has any permanence.

We are accountable for our progress and what we do accomplish.

“Thou, God, seest me perfect.”  How do you see yourself…?

Wednesday Thought

Wednesday Thought is by Og Mandino from his book, The Greatest Salesman In The World.

Today I begin a new life.

Today I shed my old skin which hath, too long, suffered the bruises of failure and the wounds of mediocrity.

Today I am born anew and my birthplace is a vineyard where there is fruit for all.

Today I will pluck grapes of wisdom from the tallest and fullest vines in the vineyard, for these were planted by the wisest of my profession who have come before me, generation upon generation.

Today I will savor the taste of grapes from these vines and verily I will swallow the seed of success buried in each and new life will sprout within me.

A Quick Quote

A Quick Quote is by Og Mandino from his book, The Greatest Salesman In The World.

“I was not delievered into this world in defeat, nor does failure course in my veins.  I am not a sheep waiting to be prodded by my shepard.  I am a lion and I refuse to talk, walk, to sleep with the sheep…”

“I will never consider defeat and I will remove from my vocabulary such words and phrases as quit, cannot, unable, impossible, out of the question, improbable, failure, unworkable, hopeless, and retreat…”

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Napoleon Hill from his book, Think & Grow Rich.

“Every adversity, every failure and every heartache carries with it the Seed of an equivalent or greater Benefit.”

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Ernest Holmes.

“Each should train himself–and do so consciously–to conceive of himself as a success.  Sailing on that boundless sea of livingness upon whose bosom we are all carried forward, we should go from success to greater success.  All thoughts of failure or depression must be erased from the mentality, and positive thoughts of achievement should take their place.”

Just A Thought

Just a thought is by Florence S. Shinn.

“Man sees first his failure or success, his joy or his sorrow, before it swings into visibility from the scenes set in his own imagination.”

Today’s Positive Thought

Today’s Positive Thought is by Dr. Venice Bloodworth.

“Mental attitudes more than mental capacities cause our success or our failure.”
