“Power is based upon organized effort of energy.  Energy cannot be organized without the habit of concentration of all the faculties on one thing at a time..The human mind is something like the magnifying glass, because it is the medium which all the faculties of the brain may be brought together and made to function, in coordinated formation…all the outstanding successful people in all walks of life concentrated the major portion of their thoughts and efforts upon one definite purpose, objective, or chief aim.”

Be positive, do not say, “I’d like to have,” but, “It is MINE.”  Whenever you claim anything by faith never go behind that statement.  Let every effort of yours be mentally listed as carrying you nearer your goal.

Remember, faith is the mighty oak which is steadfast in the wind, unshakeable. Jay

Thoughts From 1889

Thoughts from 1889.  I was looking through my library for research material and came upon a book written by Henry Drummond in the 19th Century.  He was a well-known author at the time. Below are a two quotes from his book, long out of print.

“The first demand is that being conscious and having this power of choice, the mind should have an adequate knowledge of what it is to choose.”

“For all human growth, effort, and achievement, an ideal is acknowledged to be indispensible.”

Have a wonderfully successful day.  Jay
