Goal Quote

Goal Quote is by Dr. Jack Addington from his book, All About Goals.

“…Each one has the power to direct his conscious mind in such a way that he gives orders to the subconscious mind.  The subconscious mind knows only to take orders from the conscious mind and carry out these orders from the conscious mind with precision and exactitude.  Therefore, when you set a goal, you are setting the direction of your conscious mind, and this becomes the order to the subconsious mind.  The direction that you give the conscious mind becomes the law of your life.”

Shaping The Future

I am shaping the future by reshaping my thoughts and beliefs for they are the clay of life that allows me to create the forms of unlimited successful and prosperous experiences.  If I do not like the current shape of my experiences I am free to change them and create a better now and a better future.

I am the artist in my life.  I shape it, and vibrantly color it, according to my progressive creative imagination which brings to me health, wealth, success, harmony, joy and all good prosperous things.  I use my imagination to give form to the clay of my thoughts and beliefs.  As I finish creating the thought form it is placed in the kiln of the Infinite to bring  it into my life.  I love working with the clay of my thoughts and beliefs to bring forth a new and wonderful life filled with experiences that take me forward and enhance my life and well-beingness.

I am a creative artist and using the clay of my thoughts and beliefs I am now shaping my exciting and wonderful prosperous future.

What A Day

I have been foraging through artwork and photos from the past…lots of them.  I am focusing on the black and white photos from pre 1920’s and up to the 1960’s.

When my mother passed on we found a plethora of photos of her family, with my father, and with her friends.  Some very fine posed ones as well.

My mother never did follow her dream to become a dress designer in NYC, although she did design her own clothes, shirts for my father and me, and hand puppets for my puppet shows at school.  There were opportunities for her to work at top places after high school but she didn’t buck the trend to get married or engage in a career she desired. No matter how I tried over the years to have her design clothes, dresses in particular-her forte, and start something with someone or by herself it was always met with, “No.”  The main reason she gave was her age and that she was too old, she had been saying that for over 30 years.  She was a fantastic artist, designer and wrote poetry.  It saddened me to see her talents and abilities go unused and give up her artwork.  Neither she nor my father followed their dreams/desires and it showed.

When time permits, and the pc and scanner co-operate, I will be sharing the photos on the PCA blog.

No matter how much we love someone and see how talented they are, if they are not willing to step out and take up the cause no matter how much prodding on our part, then, it is their choice alone.  Of course I would mention design every year and it was always the same response.  If and when the time comes and the fire is lit within them to go forward we will be there and be supportive of all their endeavors.

For me, I am following my dreams and desires…no time like the present, no matter what your age.  As I head into the next decade, and celebrate my age, I welcome it with open arms and enthusiasm for the good that is now entering my life.

Life, you gotta live it.

Wishing you only the best in all things,

Contrary

Contrary.  I want to be contrary.  I want to be fictional rather than a non-fictional character.  I want a better life.  I want a different life.  I want….

Ok.  So, you don’t want to be the you you think you are.  You want to be who you really are, a unique and uniquely successful character, do I have that right?

Alright, then let us begin the journey into the world of make-believe or is it; haven’t quite figured that out yet.  Yep, imagination incorporated is now engaged in creating your new you, you dashing character you.  Did you bring your list to submit?  Have you definitely decided on the avenue you want to follow to this new you?  Are you now ready to discard the old clothes that cloaked your real you, your new you?  You know, that designer stuff really looks good on you, but I digress.  Back to the start.  Accept who you are and know you are okay just the way you are…gotta be okay where you are at in order to move forward into the new, well dressed, exciting you.

Be contrary, be daring, fling yourself out into the new and different…recreate, redesign is the order of the day.  Find your character!

Time to utilize your fantastical imagination, ah what the heck, fantasize about the new life and new you and have a good time.  Laugh at the ridiculous, squeal with delight, let your imagination run wild and then pick out the stuff that is really important and set it up as a destination and see it completed in that unique and colorful imagination of yours.  Gotta have color and sparkles and bright shiny stuff, dress it up to the max and have a good time with it.  Then when all is said and done…let it go and be thankful that imaginative process has given your thought stuff to the ethers to carry to the great stuff maker and let it come to pass.  You notice I say, let…you have to release  those exciting imaginings and thoughts to that invisible maker and let it do what it does best, deliver on time and in ways you are not even aware of.

Go for the gold you fictional non-fictional character you!

Enjoy the travels.
