Are your dreams, desires, and goals for the new year that outrageous? Are you doubting your ability to achieve to greater heights in life and living? Do you say to yourself,” Oh, I could never…” Stop and follow your outrageousness. You are a creative being with the power, talent and ability to achieve your dreams, desires and goals. If you don’t follow your dream someone else will have the same idea and run with it. Many decades ago a person we knew had an offer to take their product to market and due to a lack of self-confidence they declined the offer thinking, “Who would buy my product?” The following year someone else, who had the same idea, started and it became a national chain.
To achieve your goals requires taking a risk; a risk on yourself, your ideas, your talents and abilities. Believe in yourself and your idea Know you are always in the right place at the right time and speak to the right people with the right words to convey your message.
If it wasn’t for our dreams which become desires and then goals people would still be living in caves oblivious to their creative genius and ingenuity.
So what if your dreams, desires or goals appear to be outrageous to the rest of the world, does it really matter? You are an original, so be original, and follow your heart and intuition to attain your goal and enjoy the end product of your success.
Believe in yourself, in what you are doing and your idea. Be proactive in your moving forward to newness in 2013. Be willing to take a risk on your creative self-expression.
Alright, here it is in a nutshell: Get a sheet of paper and at the top write:
My 2013 Goals
Then list your goals, be sure they are realistic and not so out of reach they set you up for failure. Goals are met to stretch us, to allow us to grow and realize our talent and ability, to be more of who we are and not less.
Be willing to learn from the errors and do not be discouraged.
Listen to your intuition!!
Be willing to take a detour on the path to achieving your goals, things don’t always go as planned and that is a good thing.
Set your own goals. No one else can set goals for you.
If you have children that are setting goals, don’t discourage them or make disparaging remarks about their goals. Support them with your love and heart, offering help when asked, this does not mean if a suggestion is needed when they are a bit stumped you can’t offer but be sure to do it lovingly and with encouragement; it is their goals, let them discover their abilities and talents to achieve.
Do not share your goals with anyone!! Keep them your secret, you don’t need any naysayers. If you and a mate/partner are setting goals, be it at home or in business keep them to yourself.
These are basics but remember: If you can Conceive it, and Believe it, you can Achieve it.
